Student Counseling Program
There is always hope with God. Even the roughest, poorest, most abused children
in the project are moving ahead as they grow in mind, body, and spirit. We can work
towards giving them a great education, helping them with clothing and hygiene, making
sure they are well nourished, and providing them with sound counseling and psychological
help. But -- and this is important -- only God can heal them. Many have experienced
the touch of the Lord while working with us. Again -- your prayers are a big part
of God's great plan for these kids. Please keep caring -- and praying.
Dozens of students every month who receive counseling by Lilian Evelia Flores, the
Christian child psychologist at Escuela Integrada.
Lilly is an integral part of our work to help emotionally troubled / abused kids
-- of which there are a lot at Escuela Integrada. She has made an excellent contribution
to the school over the last 18 months. The kids absolutely love her -- and many
confide in her. This is good. many of these children and teenagers have been victims
of all kinds of crime, violence, and abuse.
