High School Scholarship Program
Currently, LACES does not have a High School Education Program.
LACES provides scholarships for students that have shown exemplary achievement in
their studies
so they can attend public schools to continue their education.
These scholarship funds
assist their recipients in paying for the cost for attending High School at a public
school. Without this aid these children would return to being "working children". Our 20 graduating Basico students want to go
to high school. As of now, we have funds to sponsor only three. It takes approx.
$600.00 per year for these kids to go to school, and their enrollment fees are due over the next 5
weeks. We appeal to everyone to pray that these ‘kids’ are able to go to high school.
Update!
Nancy Brice and Grace
to the World has raised the funding necessary to send our graduating students
on the High School! God has provided for these students for the 2008 school
year!
